EJ Hassenfratz is a multi-Emmy winning freelance motion design artist based out of Denver, Colorado. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, EJ has conducted numerous webinars and presented at events such as NAB, Adobe Video World, and Siggraph. He creates tutorials for School of Motion and lynda.com and is a regular contributor to the Maxon blog. EJ's passion for creating engaging content and sharing his knowledge with others has made him a highly respected figure in the motion design community.

Chris Schmidt

Chris Schmidt is a well-known figure in the Maxon community, having provided workflow-enhancing plugins, tutorials, and live-streamed knowledge for over two decades. He is the founder of Rocket Lasso, a resource for artists looking to improve their skills and workflow. Chris is a regular presenter at events such as NAB, Siggraph, and Adobe Video World, and is a popular Twitch streamer who tackles a wide variety of topics and questions live from the audience every Wednesday. His extensive knowledge and dedication to helping others have made him a highly respected and beloved member of the motion design community.

Jonathan Winbush

Jonathan Winbush is an award-winning motion graphics artist with over a decade of experience in television, virtual, and augmented reality. He is the owner of Winbush Immersive and an official Unreal partner, creating amazing content on his YouTube Channel about Unreal Engine, Motion Graphics, Virtual Production, and Interactive Development. Jonathan has been a featured presenter at events such as NAB, Siggraph, and Half Rez, and his work has been recognized by numerous industry awards, including an Emmy. His dedication to exploring the cutting edge of technology and pushing the boundaries of motion graphics has made him a highly respected figure in the community.

Mathias Omotola

Mathias Omotola has worked as a Fortune 500 sales and marketing specialist to a digital artist, with a passion for Visual Effects / Special effects and motion design. Pulling from his diverse background, Mathias has focused and adopted the principle of “form follows function”, associated with modern architecture and industrial design in the 20th century. This philosophy has allowed Mathias to keep the final result of his creations and their purpose, top of mind throughout the design process. Over the last 14 years, Mathias has operated as Manager of events community for Maxon.

Bryan Coleman

Bryan is a creative director, motion designer, and style-frame artist with over a decade of experience. He uses cinema 4D as a foundation for his broadcast and commercial work and has collaborated with notable clients such as MPC, Framestore, The Mill, Toros Kose, Blacksmith, WeAreRoyale, HPE, Sarovsky, and Man Vs Machine. Bryan is currently based in Denver, where he draws inspiration from the city's unique culture and surroundings to fuel his creativity. His dedication, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to any project or client make him a valuable asset to any team or project.


Byron Stanford

Byron is a versatile Creative Director and Storyteller with a passion for pushing creative boundaries and exploring emerging technologies. Originally from Spain, he currently resides in Denver, Colorado where he runs his own freelance studio, Not Just BS Design. With an impressive track record of working with top-tier clients such as Nike, Apple, Microsoft, and Uber, among others, Byron has proven his ability to create impactful and award-winning content. In his latest endeavors, he has been delving into the world of AI, leveraging its capabilities to streamline and enhance his storytelling techniques, particularly through animation. Looking to the future, Byron is excited to continue exploring the latest technologies and techniques to take his work to the next level and create even more engaging and innovative content.



David Ariew

David Ariew is an acclaimed 3D artist and educator. He has worked with artists like Beeple, Deadmau5, Zedd, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, and Excision. Ariew has several artistic styles, from energetic concert visuals tightly synced with music to overly ambitious cinematic short films, and mesmerizing abstract animations built from 3D infinite mirror rooms. He has sold his work on SuperRare, Nifty Gateway, and Sotheby’s, and was an artist on Pak’s ASHII drop. Ariew also created two of the Beeple x Madonna NFTs and exhibited his work at Beeple’s grand opening. Recently, he has evolved his abstract work into fully immersive VR experiences, and the results are like peering into another dimension. Ariew is also known to the community as "Octane Jesus" thanks to his hair and a comment that took off in one of his tutorials. He dedicates his time to the growth of the NFT community to help up-and-coming 3D artists gain traction in the space, as well as building his community of artists and collectors through his Discord and creating narrative experiences on the blockchain.



Chelsea Evenstar

Chelsea Evenstar is a 3D, AI and multimedia artist exploring the mystery of the universe through animations & stills. Her work has been collected by Paris Hilton, sold at Sotheby's, Makersplace and Nifty Gateway, and she has collaborated with World of Women and Angels of Aether. Her work was featured at the Beeple Studios Grand Opening and she is the creator of the @TheLuvBotz.





Cameron Butterfield

Cameron is a highly skilled motion designer and animator with over a decade of professional experience in the field. Cameron's services include design, animation, and motion graphics, and he has a proven track record of delivering exceptional work for a diverse range of clients. He has worked with both small businesses and large organizations, helping them to communicate their message through creative and effective visual content.



Luis Miranda

Hey there, I’m Luis! I’m a 3D Motion Designer. Been doing 3D for close to a decade, and it’s been a lot of fun. I originally started with the Denver Broncos as their Lead Motion Designer and got a Super Bowl ring out of it. It even has my name on it! As a freelancer, I’ve worked with clients such as The Mill, NFL, The Famous Group, Carolina Panthers, and even Beeple! I like to think I bring lighthearted and fun energy to every project I work on. My job is to make art! And that’s exciting!

Shawn Astrom

Colorado native Shawn Astrom has been soaking up the Denver sun and breathing the thin air his whole life. Shawn has been using Cinema 4D for over 17 years, along with many other 3D apps and tools. He prides himself on constantly learning new things and staying on top of the cutting edge of CGI. In his tenure, Shawn had the honor of working for Grayscalegorilla, making many of their more recent material collections alongside Chad Ashley. Additionally, Shawn developed and created their Ultimate Skies HDRI collection and Space HDRI collection to name a few. Shawn is currently freelancing, operating under SA Studios Inc., where he works with clients such as Bose, Nike, Amazon, Maxon, Verizon and many more. Along with regular freelancing, SA Studios is also developing and selling assets such as HDRIs and CG Terrain Maps.



Jen Van Horn

Jen Van Horn, a Senior Motion Designer and the Creative Lead for MSN Games at Craftsman+, is also a part-time TA at School of Motion and a freelance animator and photo manipulator. Crowned "Queen of Explainers" by her crew, she's brought to life a mind-blowing 130+ vector explainer vids! Jen's a time-bending, project-crushing master, and she's currently busy whipping up an awesome series of classes to help fellow creative freelancers level-up their productivity game. Jen's unquenchable thirst for knowledge keeps her chasing every creative adventure out there -from character design and food illustration to abstract painting, cooking, gardening, and even foley!



Scott Unruh

Scott was born and raised in the Colorado and developed a passion for crafting at a young age. Scott had carried that passion on to his career in animation, editing, producing and motion graphics for broadcast television. His latest passion of 3D printing has finally allowed him to bring these models into the real world, creating physical representations of digital creations and enabling his career to come full circle.


REVILO

Will Harvey, aka REVILO, is a digital artist and motion designer based out of Charleston, SC. As a freelance artist, he has had the opportunity to work on concert visuals and or digital art for musicians such as Lil Uzi Vert, DJ Diesel (SHAQ), G-Eazy, Megan Thee Stallion, City Girls, 6lack, Excision, Lil Nas X, and many others. While creating for others, he has also created many works of his own including VJ Loops, free to download under Creative Commons and has created a piece of artwork every day for 5yrs and counting.

Dave Koss

Dave Koss is a motion graphics artist under the handle Zeta.art. He is also owner of Nexus Motion, an animation studio in Dallas, TX. He's part owner of Mograph.com, an online community for motion graphics artists. Over the years, he has worked on numerous high-profile projects for clients such as Deadmau5, EA Sports, George Strait, and Oprah Winfrey. He co-hosts the Mograph Podcast weekly with Matt Milstead on Mograph.com. Dave also maintains Mograph.com's 24/7 Motion Graphics Channel called MographTV. Additionally, he is one of the directors of Camp Mograph, a 4-day immersive retreat for animators & motion designers with workshops, networking, and campfire gatherings led by top industry artists.

Matt Milstead

Matt Milstead is a partner at Mograph.com and a freelance 3D animator with over 22 years of experience in the industry. As a leader in his field, he has worked on diverse projects for video games, concert visuals as well as movies and interactive content. He co-hosts the Mograph podcast, where he shares his expertise with others in the industry.
