Andre ‘Sage’ Ottley

Andre Ottley also known as ‘Sage’, started his creative journey in architecture, where he was introduced to Cinema4D by chance as a part of the curriculum.

What began as a tool for 3D visualization evolved into a wider exploration of animation during his off-hours. This journey eventually led Andre to transition away from Architecture to a full-time role as a 3D environment artist and animator at the VR content studio Secret Location. Over time, the studio transitioned into the realm of immersive experiences. Today, he holds the position of Creative Director, where he finds himself in somewhat of a hybrid role, combining his background and knowledge of architecture for physical space build-outs, along with a long history and passion for 3D animation, in creating unique content for immersive experience spaces. Beyond this, Andre remains an active contributor to the Cinema 4D community as the moderator of the Cinema4D subreddit (which is where the nickname originates), solidifying his connection to both the software and the community of artists.
